Date: Ministry in Galilee. A guided comparison of Gospel accounts, not a measured calendar or a claim that every parallel follows the same sequence.
Jesus travels through towns and villages proclaiming the kingdom. The Twelve accompany him, together with women including Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Susanna, who support the ministry from their resources.
Luke names these women as participants and benefactors. Mary Magdalene’s past affliction does not identify her as the unnamed woman at the preceding meal or establish that she was a prostitute.
Primary Scripture
8:1 Soon afterward, Jesus traveled from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with Him,
8:2 as well as some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
8:3 Joanna the wife of Herod’s household manager Chuza, Susanna, and many others. These women were ministering to them out of their own means.
Related Scripture
Women including Mary Magdalene and Joanna appear again among the resurrection witnesses.

Interpretation and reuse
Narrative order is a reading arrangement, not a proven chronology. Dates retain their stated uncertainty. An identified locality does not establish the exact venue or prove an event. Region extents and routes are illustrative, not surveyed boundaries or ancient roads. Draft material has not completed editorial review.
