Catalog: all events and study sections
Catalog records link to stable HTML, Markdown and JSON. An event lives at /reference/events/{id}/; a study section at /reference/studies/{studyId}/{sectionId}/. Each directory provides index.md and index.json (BSB); kjv.html, kjv.md and kjv.json select KJV explicitly. The catalog defaults to BSB. Browse /reference/studies/{studyId}/ for a study outline.
JSON preserves dates, provenance, historicalSources, sourceNote, locationNote and attribution. passages include readable references, translation, availability and verses. related/recalls/ahead link readings; related.kind distinguishes parallels, recollections, prophecy, teaching and letters. Linked passages are not all reproduced inline. Empty verse text has an omission note. Unbundled KJV readings are marked not-bundled and never silently replaced by BSB.
revision is a deterministic content hash, not a review date. provenance.reviewedOn is included only if an editorial review date exists. Missing values mean unrecorded, not certain or zero. Coordinates use [longitude, latitude]. Numeric Scripture range IDs use book * 1000000 + chapter * 1000 + verse in KJV versification; prefer the readable reference field. Narrative order is not a time measurement.
Narrative order is a reading arrangement, not a proven chronology. Dates retain their stated uncertainty. An identified locality does not establish the exact venue or prove an event. Region extents and routes are illustrative, not surveyed boundaries or ancient roads. Draft material has not completed editorial review.
Use the record URL and revision when citing this atlas. Follow primary and historical source links to check claims. Keep each record’s attribution: Theographic adaptations are CC BY-SA 4.0; OpenBible coordinates are CC BY 4.0. Original editorial writing is identified separately; no blanket public-domain license is asserted. Maps and fonts have additional terms in the project sources documentation.
The site provides public reference files, not an MCP server or an AI chat service. Pasting a URL does not install tools. llms.txt is a discovery aid, not a guarantee that an agent will read or follow it.
