Date: Ministry in Galilee. A guided comparison of Gospel accounts, not a measured calendar or a claim that every parallel follows the same sequence.
Landing in Gennesaret, Jesus and the disciples are recognized. People bring the sick from the surrounding area, seeking even to touch the fringe of his garment, and the accounts report their healing.
Gennesaret here describes the landing district, not a securely identified house or a single healing spot. Mark broadens the description to villages, towns and countryside.
Primary Scripture
14:34 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret.
14:35 And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding region. People brought all the sick to Him
14:36 and begged Him just to let them touch the fringe of His cloak. And all who touched Him were healed.
6:53 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and moored the boat.
6:54 As soon as they got out of the boat, the people recognized Jesus
6:55 and ran through that whole region, carrying the sick on mats to wherever they heard He was.
6:56 And wherever He went—villages and towns and countrysides—they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged Him just to let them touch the fringe of His cloak. And all who touched Him were healed.
Related Scripture
The woman’s earlier healing provides a comparison for touching Jesus’s garment.

Interpretation and reuse
Narrative order is a reading arrangement, not a proven chronology. Dates retain their stated uncertainty. An identified locality does not establish the exact venue or prove an event. Region extents and routes are illustrative, not surveyed boundaries or ancient roads. Draft material has not completed editorial review.
